Volvo has now sold a total of 100 buses powered by hybrid technology in the Nordic countries. The latest order to be received by Volvo Buses is for 25 hybrid buses for Göteborgs Spårvägar (Gothenburg Tramways), which operates public transport services on behalf of Västtrafik.

Volvo Buses has received an order for a total of 230 city buses from Kingston, Jamaica. The first 65 buses will be delivered at the end of 2011. The transaction is worth just over 16 million euros.

Volvo Bus Latin America has recently sold 688 bus chassis to the capitol of Colômbia, Bogotá. It's the company's largest deal ever in Colômbia. The deal encompasses chassis for conventional buses as well as articulated and biarticulated buses.
