Holding the community's hands, the Volvo Traffic Safety Program has mobilized thousands of people towards this cause, thus contributing for the reduction of accidents countrywide. It held conferences about the subject, promoted symposiums and seminars, produced videos, offered defensive driving courses for professional drivers, stimulated schools, cities and communities, among many other actions, thus becoming a national reference in respect to traffic safety.
What in 1987 seemed to be only a way celebrate the 10 years of life of Volvo do Brasil, has become the longest campaign in favor of life that was ever carried out in the history of the Brazilian industry.
