Volvo B9R, the most advanced coach and freightage bus in the market. With 9 liters rear engine and configuration 4x2, the B9R was developed to attend the most demanding standards of passengers transport, about availability, fuel consumption, and comfort.

The B9R is equipped with a bus electronic arquitecture, BEA2 . The driver has in the board computer several information from: the engine, brakes, suspension, external lights, operational data and failure diagnosis.

The electronic suspension , the VEB ( Volvo Engine Brake) and the intelligent gearbox I-SHIFT are standard items in this new chassi.

With the gearbox Volvo I-SHIFT, the driver doesn't need to make any effort changing gears. All the changes are made precisely and smoothly. The gearbox Volvo I-Shift guaranties an operation with excellent values of fuel consumption and high level of comfort for the passengers.

The brake system EBS-5 (Electronic Braking System 5) includes a serie of dispositives: the ABS (anti-lock braking system) avoids the locking of the wheels, the ASR (Acceleration Slip Regulation) controls the traccion of the wheels, disc brakes with great durability and performance, electronic regulation of the braking pressure, liming wear sensing and control.
