Volvo's theme at the major IAA Motor Show in Hannover in late September is Green Efficiency – vehicles and associated services that save fuel, money and the environment.
The Volvo 7900 Hybrid is the clearest example. Approaching 1000 buses sold it makes Volvo the leading supplier of hybrid buses in Europe. It is also the best-performing hybrid in terms of fuel savings as well as uptime.
Volvo Bus Telematics will be presented in a special display, focusing particularly on increased uptime and savings on maintenance and service.
At IAA 2012 Volvo Buses will also launch the new Euro 6 engine range with 5-, 8- and 11-litre engines. For our coach customers there will be an opportunity to try out our new seat range. The new seats have a new design, even better comfort and reduced weight, 120 kg for the entire coach, which contributes to lower fuel consumption.
