Engine: Volvo D7E. In-line 6-cylinder diesel rated at 290 bhp (torque 1200 Nm) Euro 5/EEV/4/3 compliant. Volvo EMS for optimised combustion. For Euro 3 or Euro 4 compliance: D7E240, rated at 240 bhp (torque 920 Nm).
Transmission: D7E290: 6-speed automatic transmissions. D7E240: 6-speed automated manual.
Rear axle: Volvo single-reduction axle with alternative ratios available.
Suspension: Electronically controlled air suspension. Front and rear stabilisers.
Braking system: Twin-circuit system. Volvo disc brakes combined with EBS 5-controlled ABS/ASR functions and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
Driver’s environment: Ergonomic design with easy-reach controls. Adjustable steering wheel (reach and rake).
