The Auto expo is the biggest auto show in India. Organised in New delhi every alternate year, the 2008 show attracted all the major players in the auto industry. The expo was held from 10th January to 17th January.
The Volvo stall at auto expo had a city bus, a truck, a penta engine, along with global exhibits pertaining to safety and environment as well as Volvo Ocean Race.
Volvo buses presented the 8400 low floor city bus, in the most beautiful mauve colour, along with an auto ticketing machine with swipe card option, wheel chair ramp, four state of the art LCD displays, rear view camera etc. The stall was visited by several customers and other dignitaries from the industry.
