Issue with driver identification in Volvo Connect

We would like to inform you about an issue affecting how driver identification has been recorded in Volvo Connect.

During the period 11 October 2025, 09:00 (CET) - 8 December 2025, 12:30 (CET) 

some vehicle-related data in Volvo Connect may have been assigned to the wrong driver. This may affect you if you use driver identification methods such as tachograph or USB Driver ID. In certain cases, the system did not end driver sessions correctly. The vehicle-related data is not affected, only the connection to who was driving.  No data in the Tachograph is affected, only the read-out to Volvo Connect. 


The underlying cause is currently under investigation, and we are analyzing how and to what extent data has been impacted.


All data after 8 December 2025, 12:30 (CET) is recorded correctly and is not affected by this issue.
