Introducing Tracking Overview: Your fleet at a glance

With our new Tracking Overview feature in the Map tool, you can now monitor all your vehicles in real-time. Quickly identify which vehicles are low on fuel or battery, have active faults, or haven’t connected in the last hour, all from one convenient view.

Previously, detailed vehicle information could only be shown by selecting vehicles in the vehicle list or by selecting them on the map. With Tracking Overview, it is now possible to view detailed information about all vehicles at once. Tracking Overview can be accessed by clicking the list icon on the map.

The table includes data columns that can be sorted in either ascending or descending order, and you can adjust the number of vehicles displayed per page. By default, Tracking Overview shows all vehicles in the fleet. However, specific vehicles can be filtered using the search box. The search results will reflect the search value along with all active filter cards in the table.

The filter cards provide an overview of parameter statuses and serve as both filters and a quick summary of the fleet. Each card displays the ratio of vehicles in the fleet that matches the selected filter. You can switch to smaller filter cards by selecting the Small filter cards option. While these smaller cards function similarly, they are more compact and less visually detailed. A card is considered active when it features a coloured background or border.

Tracking Overview saves settings when it is closed. This includes activated cards, custom column widths and sorting and vehicle page size. Note that manually entered text resets when closing Tracking Overview.

The columns available in this release are Vehicle Name, Time, Speed, Fuel/Battery level, Odometer, Address, and Fault codes.

You can select to show or hide columns using the Columns option.

To make the overview load quickly, addresses are hidden by default. Click View address to display a vehicle's address. Note that when you close Tracking Overview, the displayed address will revert to being hidden when you open Tracking Overview again.

In Map tool, visualize vehicle behavior with Graph View

Our new Graph View in the Position History tool provides a visual representation of your vehicles' performance. Compare speed,  fuel/battery levels, weight and altitude throughout the day to identify trends and optimize your fleet's efficiency

As seen in the picture below, you can e.g. compare the speed the vehicle has been driving to how the Battery level has changed during the day.

A dotted line represents what event you are viewing right now. If you switch to Data View, all the data recorded together with this event will be visualized.

Temperature, weight and altitude are selectable in the drop-down options in the top-right of the graph. The information is fetched from signals received with every event.

Previously, this tool has only been available for vehicles with Driving Profile service. From now on, this graph is included in your Events subscription.

In Map tool, Position History now shows summaries of fuel, distance and time

In Map tool, Position History now includes a row with summarized fuel consumption, distance and time spent between first and last event in the time span you have searched for. This makes it easier to get an overview of how your vehicle has travelled.

If you filter on specific events, each event will also include a summary of data between this event and the next event in time.

This feature is included in your Events subscription.

In Map tool, display zones based on zone type

To make it more efficient to work in the Map tool, you can now show or hide specific zone types.

You show or hide zones on the map using the toggles under Display Options. To enable these toggles, click the Display Options icon, and expand Zones. Select which zones you want to view on the map or select the top option to display all zones.

Which zones you see in the list depends on which zone types that are available in the fleet.

In Map tool, you can now right click to see and copy address

When working in the Map tool, you can right click anywhere on the map to open a menu where you can open street view for that location and copy the coordinates for the location, or store the view as a map favorite view.

With this release, you will also see the full street address of the location and can copy the address to the clipboard.
