We are happy to introduce a new tool in the Volvo connect portal! The new portal tool, Logbook, allows you to create incident reports and workshop requests. This makes it easy to record and track your vehicle’s issues, as well as conveniently communicate these issues and book a workshop visit. You access the Logbook tool from the main menu.

The Workshop History tool now features an improved design and enhanced functionality, providing you with a clearer and more comprehensive overview of your maintenance activities. With the new chips located at the top of the screen, you can easily choose the specific dates you wish to display. You can also select which event types you want to view. These options can also be adjusted using the Filter option.

The landing page in Assets, Fleet Overview, is updated to now display widgets. The new design makes it easier and quicker for you to monitor and control warnings and alerts. Note that some widgets might not be visible on all markets.

The latest releases of Volvo Connect contain multiple features that make it easier for you as a bus operator to monitor your fleet. We are committed to providing frequent updates to continuously improve the user experience. Volvo provides extensive possibilities for integration of vehicle data with customer systems. With Data Access Services, our customers get access to the building blocks needed for obtaining reliable vehicle data, ensuring control of the fleet and its operations. We are now strengthening our offer with a new API for diesel vehicles. With this new release we offer three APIs based on the ACEA rFMS standard: Connect API – Electric, Connect API – ESS Power and Connect API – Diesel

The first version of the connected service Events is being launched in Volvo Connect for vehicles on our new electric architecture. As a fleet owner, you can now use the Events service for all bus models in the same fleet.

Now we are introducing a significant upgrade in the Tracking Report. We have made several enhancements to improve your experience and provide more flexibility in analyzing your data.

With the latest release of Volvo Connect you can view your fault codes in the Map Tool and in the Report Tool as well as in Assets.

We are glad to announce that we have made an important update to our Map tool in Volvo Connect. With the latest release, we will be using Google Maps as our map provider for default, satellite and terrain views. This change brings several benefits to you.

Zero Emission Zones with the purpose of driving hybrid vehicles on combustion engine are now renamed to Battery Saving Zones in order to better reflect their purpose.

We are pleased to announce an enhancement to our Report tool, aimed at providing bus operators with a more detailed and insightful overview of charging information. From opportunity charging on route to overnight charging in the depot, our report covers a spectrum of charging options, allowing you to make informed decisions to tailor your charging strategies based on the specific needs of your fleet.

Have you ever analyzed which electric vehicle used which charger? Then you have probably handled the MAC address of your vehicle’s charging unit . With the latest version of Volvo Connect, this address is visible in Assets for all of your electric vehicles.

Ever wondered which bus stop is the busiest or which routes tend to be overloaded with passengers? With the new Passenger Load report, you can see the weight of the bus and the estimated number of passengers every time the bus closes its doors.

Driving Profile is a service based on data collected with a high frequency that lets you drill down in detail to your vehicles’ performance, second by second, over a 24-hour time frame. It can help you detect certain trends and analyze correlations between events. For example, you may notice more harsh acceleration events when the bus is climbing up to high altitude, and you can correlate fault codes to driving patterns like high speed.

A new functionality/tab called "Service Contract" is now in place within Volvo Connect. This functionality/tab is accessible within the Assets section for individual vehicles. It will only be visible in markets that utilize the Trucks Service Agreement (TSA).

You can now view detailed information about your vehicles’ speed and engine speed (RPM) within the Report tool. The graphs plot engine speed and vehicle speed over time, distance and consumption in separate bar graphs. The views can be used to analyze engine speed for vehicles servicing specific routes and see if they are suited for their task.

Charge Monitoring Zones are zones which monitor the battery level of your hybrid or electric vehicles, and sends an event if the battery level is more than or less than a certain level on entering or leaving the zone.
