With a Volvo Service Contract, you’re never alone – we’re always keeping an extra eye on your uptime. Our contracts have one purpose only: to keep your vehicles as available, safe, and productive as possible. A well-maintained bus or coach simply performs better. The risk of unplanned stops – or even breakdowns – is significantly reduced. What’s more, a properly serviced vehicle also retains its value better.

Choose your level of support

Volvo Service Contracts are there to bring peace of mind so you can focus on your operation. Choose your level of coverage – from the all-inclusive Gold Contract to the preventive maintenance Blue Contract and the Uptime Care Contract. All Volvo Service Contracts include a monitoring function, which utilises the built-in connectivity of your vehicles. Vital components are monitored to detect irregular wear and provide proactive follow-ups to maximize your uptime.

All vehicles are different. City buses with long service days need a different type of attention compared to low-mileage intercity short-haulers. Within the service contract, we design a maintenance plan based on the way each of your vehicles is driven.

The Gold Contract means peace of mind. Meticulous maintenance keeps your vehicle on the road and productive. And should repairs be needed, Volvo’s expert technicians will bring it back to mint condition. So your passengers will always have a reliable and comfortable journey.

Based on the actual use of your vehicles and your operational needs, we monitor key components in real time. When attention is needed, we provide early alerts to help you stay ahead of issues. This means fewer surprises and a more reliable fleet. The monitored components include:

Air pressure monitoring air drier

Exhaust aftertreatment system crystals

Each maintenance event follows a tailored list of checkups and measures. They include:

In addition to what’s included in the service contract, you can choose from a range of valuable options. The exact list of actions is market-specific and can be adjusted according to your needs. Please contact your Volvo representative for further information.

  • Legal inspection
  • Delivery/pick-up from workshop
  • Repairs outside normal working hours
  • National roadside assistance
  • International roadside assistance
  • Replacement of wiper blades, bulbs, and fuses
  • Topping up of oil, coolant, and antifreeze
  • Repairs of non-standard fitted components, such as accessories, audio/video, coffee machines, etc.
  • Maintenance of additional equipment

 

It’s also possible to include non-Volvo bodies from third-party body builders in the service contract. Volvo’s dealer workshop network can offer support with what the contract may cover in terms of maintenance and repairs.

Distribute your expenses with Flexi-Gold

With a Flexi-Gold Contract, your service costs adjust to follow the seasonal changes in your business. The contract coverage is identical to that of the Gold Contract and your monthly payments are split into a fixed and a variable part.

Blue Contract

With all preventive maintenance covered in the Blue Contract, you can rest assured your vehicles are serviced correctly by certified technicians. And with a tailored service plan, your vehicle will be taken care of at the time that best suits your operation.

Based on the actual use of your vehicles and your operational needs, we monitor key components in real time. When attention is needed, we provide early alerts to help you stay ahead of issues. This means fewer surprises and a more reliable fleet. Note that the costs for check-ups, repairs, or replacements of the monitored components are not included in the Blue Contract. The monitored components include:

For operators with large fleets, a fully equipped workshop, and trained technicians, Volvo offers tailored solutions for parts supply including logistics and a specified monthly cost for parts within an agreed framework.
