Secure e-performance
An electric bus may look just like any other bus, but underneath it’s all different. Energy storage and high-voltage equipment call for the expertise of trained e-mobility service engineers. For Volvo this expertise and continuous performance follow-up are included in the total offer.
Battery Contract
The Battery Contract is an assurance of battery performance at a specified monthly cost. Volvo Buses monitors the battery system of each vehicle to secure performance and trouble-free operation. This follow-up is done by remote-access data capture and does not require any action by the operator. So you don’t have to worry about battery capacity or the need for battery replacement.
Electric Driveline Contract
From a mechanical point of view, an electric driveline is simple and durable.Even so, it is vital to maintain it to ensure lasting performance and optimise itsservice life. The Electric Driveline Contract is an extension of the Battery Contract and includes maintenance of everything from charging equipment and power management to electric motors and transmission.
Go for Gold – the ultimate assurance
For the highest level of assurance a Gold Contract is a given. For electric vehicles, the usual Gold coverage of maintenance, chassis and body repairs is completed with Battery Contract and Electric Driveline Contract. As always with Genuine Volvo Parts fitted by experts. The coverage does not include damage caused by incorrect or careless handling of the vehicle, or neglected maintenance.
