John Dover, Volvo Bus Regional Sales Manager

It is with the deepest regret that Volvo announces the tragic death of John Dover, Volvo Bus Regional Sales Manager, who died yesterday (Monday, May 31) in a motorcycle accident. John was 55 years’ old, lived with his family in Thame, Oxfordshire and was a passionate motorcyclist.

Based at Volvo Loughborough on coach sales, John was extremely well known throughout the industry having been with the company for nearly 10 years of his 30 years in the industry. He previously worked for DAF, Arriva and the Moseley Group.

John leaves a wife Marita and a son and daughter Ian and Laura.

“All our thoughts are with John’s family at this extremely difficult time,” said Nick Page, Coach Sales Director at Volvo Bus.

Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course once the company has been advised by the family.
