A Volvo man for over almost 30 years, his knowledge of the company and its products is extensive and he has been working alongside Roger Turner since mid 2009, looking after large fleet operators and small independent firms alike.
“I’m really excited about the challenge,” explained Phil Fletcher, “It is important that our customers have a face that they know and can trust and I want to continue building successful partnerships with the operators”.
Having started his career at Volvo Truck & Bus Dealership Crossroads Cleckheaton in 1982, he added to his portfolio spending a number of years as Assistant Service Manager following the Cleckheaton head office relocation to nearby Birstall. He moved to Volvo Bus Warwick as Coach Product Manager in 2002, developing his sales and engineering skills further, whilst working with major European body builders.

Travelling from his home in Rugby, which he shares with his two daughters Phil says he relishes the challenge of getting out and meeting the bus operators around the country. “For me that’s the best part of the job working closely with customers and helping to meet their needs and requirements”.
Commenting on current market conditions Phil added, “There’s definitely movement in the market again, enquiry levels are on the increase not just for new vehicles, but for pre-owned as well. We currently have availability of low floor, high capacity single and double door B7TL double decks".
