“We’ve specified Volvo coaches for a number of years now,” explained Richard Reynolds, “previously having had Volvos on the B9R chassis.
“For us as a company it feels very much like a natural progression to add the B11Rs to our quality fleet. We have already received positive reports on the new vehicles while in operation and we look forward to reviewing their performance going forward.”
Reynolds Diplomat’s two new B11R coaches are being used across a mix of private hire contracts, UK and international tour work.
Each vehicle is fitted with 53 passenger seats and has two TVs, DVD player, sound system, air conditioning and a rear servery with fridge. The B11R is also specified with Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels.
It is equipped with the fuel efficient Volvo D11C, six cylinder diesel engine. First-class driveability and exceptional torque also ensure that the vehicle runs smoothly and effectively on the road.
“The back-up and support we receive from Volvo Truck and Bus Centres in Hayes and in Radlett was another key factor in our decision,” continued Richard Reynolds. “They have supported our vehicles over a long period of time and we trust them.”
“Already the new B11R seems to be extremely popular with operators,” explained Volvo Regional Coach Sales Manager, Jo Standbridge. “These are Reynolds Diplomat’s first on the new chassis and we look forward to receiving Richard Reynolds’ in service feedback.”
