Glasgow Celtic FC, Motherwell FC and The Scottish National team are all utilising the new Park’s of Hamilton high specification Volvo coaches. Three of the vehicles have been specially supplied with 39 table format luxury seats. This adaption facilitatesmore onboard space for the players and the management teams.
Supplied in 53 seat format, the other seven new Volvo B9Rs are being used on the company’s wide range of UK and continental tours, as well as for other private hire purposes.
Offering passenger luxury and comfort, Park’s new B9R coaches feature high quality executive seats, air conditioning, TV and DVD player, integrated drinks machines, fridges and centre demountable toilets, making them ideally suited for tours and long distance travel.
Park’s of Hamilton have been loyal Volvo customer since they were founded in 1971 and the strength of that long-term relationship was important in the purchase of these latest vehicles. Director, Michael Andrews explains, “We’ve been specifying Volvo since the beginning and we know the high standards that they set, both in terms of their vehicles and aftermarket care.”

Customised in the company’s distinctive black, silver and gold livery on the Jonckheere bodywork, the new B9Rs feature the Volvo D9 9.4 litre diesel engine, capable of 380hp, attached to the fully automated I-Shift transmission.
