“We have specified the Volvo B11R previously with other bodywork, but this is the first time we have purchased a 9700”, explained New Bharat Coaches’ Director, Taj Dhaliwal. “We have been extremely pleased with our existing B11R’s fuel economy, but wanted to broaden the look of our fleet of coaches, the 9700 was the natural progression and we are very pleased with the initial results of both vehicles.
“As these coaches will be covering a large amount of mileage on our touring work it was important that we invested in vehicles we can trust to be reliable and fuel efficient. The majority of our fleet is now Volvo and we intend to keep it this way.

New Bharat Coaches’ new Volvo 9700 coaches are specified with 53 passenger seats and feature Volvo’s fuel efficient, D11K, 11 litre Euro 6 engine.
The Volvo 9700 luxury coach is described by Volvo as a first class experience for passengers and drivers alike. With a new look for the front and rear at Euro 6, the 9700 continues to be unmistakable and brings the benefits of the Volvo complete coach approach.
