Jordan Ridley, Managing Director for Ridleys Coaches, explained: “We needed a new coach as a replacement for one of our older vehicles and in particular, we were looking for something that would meet our passenger capacity needs while offering excellent fuel consumption.
“While we did look at potential alternatives from other manufacturers, we really liked the look of the B11R and based on our experience of working with Volvo and indeed the feedback we’ve received from other operators who’ve been very impressed with its performance, the B11R was the clear front runner for us in our decision.
“Our Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager Jo Standbridge was, as always, excellent to deal with throughout the whole negotiation and purchasing process, providing us with a great package and on schedule delivery of our first new vehicle.”
Jo Standbridge added: “The reputation of the B11R is continuing to gain momentum among operators for its excellent fuel consumption and operational performance. Increasingly customers are placing orders based upon recommendation and feedback from other operators and we’re pleased that Ridleys Coaches has added a B11R to their Volvo fleet.”
Featuring Sunsundegui SC7 bodywork, the coach has 53 seats and includes all the latest features expected by today’s seasoned coach traveller.
Ridleys Coaches is a family owned and run business and was established in 2009. The company specialises in a range of services including UK tours, day trips, private hires, school and swimming contracts.
