Sam joins Volvo with a wealth of experience gained in the commercial vehicle sector, specifically on the regional sales and management side. Having previously worked for a range of well known companies including Lex Commercials, DAF, Isuzu and Iveco to name but a few, Sam joins Volvo at a time of increased sales and growth.
Commenting on his appointment, Sam said: “I’m really excited to join the Volvo bus and coach team, which is going from strength to strength having enjoyed a period of strong sales success. I’m looking forward to bringing my 19 years’ experience to help grow Volvo’s market share, as well as getting to know all the operators and members of the bus and coach community in my new region.”
James Hyde, Retail Sales Director for Volvo Bus, added: “It’s great to have Sam on board, his long and impressive track record in sales and the commercial vehicles sector will prove invaluable as we endeavour to further increase our market share and grow sales. We’re confident he will have a significant contribution to make as we head into 2017.”
Originally from Yorkshire, Sam has lived in the Clifton area of Bristol for the last 16 years. In his spare time, he follows Yorkshire and England’s cricket teams. He is a regular in the crowd at Bath Rugby Club as well as being a member of the England rugby supporters club.
