David Morris, Owner of DRM, said: "The delivery timing was key to this purchase where we needed a vehicle at short notice. Volvo had the availability and the vehicle specification we were looking for at a competitive price.”

The bus will be used on regular routes for Herefordshire Council as well as school contracts in the area. The single deck Volvo bus, with MCV bodywork, will allow passengers to travel in comfort and get them to their destination safely.

David added: “Our new bus features all the latest passenger safety, comfort and convenience benefits, such as three-point seat belts, which was a very important feature to us especially when carrying school children.”

Dan Barwick, Fleet Sales Manager for Volvo Bus, commented: “I have known David for more than 16 years and we have done business many times in the past.

“The B8RLE has a solid reputation, with many operators around the UK reporting great feedback on reliability of operation and the overall quality of the vehicle.”

DRM Bus Company has been operating since 1984, originally a bus and coach company but more recently concentrating on bus contacts alone with the introduction of new routes.
