Taj Dhaliwal, Director for New Bharat Coaches, explained: “We have worked with Volvo for many years and when it came to searching for additional vehicles, we looked no further than Volvo.
“We need coaches that offer reliability and excellent fuel economy as the new additions will be covering extensive mileage. These new vehicles take our tally to 15 new Volvos in the past two years. Overall, 19 of the 24 vehicles in our fleet are now built on a Volvo chassis.
“Our Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager Jo Standbridge was excellent to deal with throughout the whole process providing us with a great package and advice. We also have a fully integrated Volvo B11R 9700 on order for later this year, and plan to be fully Euro 6 compliant by 2019 ahead of the Mayor’s schedule.”
The B11R JHV2 has become popular with operators since its launch in November 2016. The New Bharat vehicle is 12.57 m in length and has the capacity to seat 53 passengers. The new addition boasts a stylish appearance with many improved features and benefits for both driver and passengers.
Jo Standbridge said: “The B11R chassis has a strong reputation for its efficiency and overall performance. We are delighted that New Bharat will be adding another three Volvos to their fleet.”
Taj Dhaliwal added: “With Volvo Bus you get the complete package. They are responsive and you have the support of the dealer network. We would be happy to recommend Volvo and the B11R to anyone looking to buy a coach.”
New Bharat Coaches was established in 1977 and the company has 40 years of experience specialising in a range of services including UK tours, day trips, private hires and school contracts.
