Taj Dhaliwal, Director for New Bharat Coaches, explained: “We have once again turned to Volvo to meet the needs of our ever increasing fleet.
“We were in need of additional quality vehicles that would be reliable and offer excellent fuel economy, both important considerations for any coach operator in today’s competitive environment. We have had such great success with Volvo and these new coaches take our tally to 12 new Volvos in the past two years. Overall, 16 of the 21 vehicles in our fleet are now built on a Volvo chassis.
“Our Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager Jo Standbridge was, as always, excellent to deal with throughout the whole negotiation and purchasing process providing us with a great package and advice.”
Destined for use on a range of private and London touring work, the 9700s are 13.8m in length and have a 57 passenger seating capacity.
Jo Standbridge said: “The 9700 has a strong reputation among operators for its excellent fuel consumption, appearance and overall performance. We are delighted that New Bharat has chosen to add another two Volvos to their fleet and look forward to working with them again in the near future”.
Taj Dhaliwal added: “With Volvo Bus you get the complete package. They are responsive and you have the reassurance of their dealer network. We would be happy to recommend Volvo to anyone looking for a reliable, fuel efficient coach”.
New Bharat Coaches was established in 1977 and the company has 40 years of experience specialising in a range of services including UK tours, day trips, private hires and school contracts.
