The UK and continental holiday operator has been so impressed with the features, build and quality of the B11R 9700, as well as the overall support on offer at Volvo, that the company has confirmed its intention to replace its entire fleet with Volvo moving forward.
With 57 seats and a specified length of 13.8m, the latest vehicle includes all of the latest interior fittings and convenience features as standard, offering passengers the opportunity to explore the best of Britain and Europe in comfort and style.
David Southcott, Operations Manager for Cairngorm Travel, said “For the exclusive holidays and tailormade tour work we carry out, we feel that the quality interior features as well as the aesthetic appearance of the Volvo B11R 9700 meets our requirements and those of our customers perfectly. We genuinely believe this to be the most stylish coach on the road.
“Since working with Volvo we have received first class support from Bob McGarry, our Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager who has been extremely helpful throughout and feel he really does have our best interests, and those of our drivers and passengers, in mind.
“The same can be said for the technical support and advice on offer from John Sellars, our Volvo Technical Support and Service Manager. John’s depth of knowledge in respect of the 9700 is truly exceptional.
“We have experienced minimum downtime as a result of the efforts and excellent support offered by Crossroads Rotherham. We do feel that Volvo and Crossroads offer the full package that complements our premium touring operation.”
Bob McGarry added: “We’re very pleased that David and his team have been so happy with Volvo. When we met David in 2015 the company was interested in looking at other models, but after seeing the Volvo body they changed their mind and the 9700s they have introduced are well suited to their operation.
“We look forward to a successful working relationship with Cairngorm Travel as they expand their fleet with Volvo.”
