Managing Director of Golden Tours, Mikesh Palan, said: “We have bought a substantial number of MCV buses over the years for our London sightseeing business so when Volvo came to us to discuss a B11R MCV ‘523’ we were excited at the prospect of being the first customer to order this new vehicle combination.”
With an impressive specification the ‘523’ body features 53 premium seats with three point seatbelts belts, tray back tables, individual USB sockets, footrests, leather side and headrest seat trim. Also fitted is a Shades Centre sunken demountable toilet, Sutrack air conditioning, Bosch DAB digital radio and 19” front and centre flatscreen TVs. Additional features include Alcoa Alloy wheels, driver and crew pa system, front dash mounted 55ltr fridge, hot water boiler, exterior LED cantrail lighting, LED interior floor and roof lighting and reversing camera.
Mikesh Palan added: “Golden Tours prides itself in having fun with transport and offering our customers an innovative travel experience which brings the journey to life the minute they set foot on the bus, and as such we also specified the coaches with seat back TV screens as a bespoke addition.
