The West Drayton based operator has taken delivery of a Volvo B11R with Jonckheere JHV2 bodywork, expanding its fleet to further its already excellent service.
Ajay Sandhu, Director at Commonwealth Coaches, said: “This latest purchase of the B11R marks the fourth Volvo we have added to the fleet and continues to demonstrate our great relationship with Volvo and their sales team. As an ever-growing family business, we make it our focus to ensure every trip is memorable for our passengers – we therefore only invest in the best vehicles that will offer the best possible experience.
“We can’t fault the B11R – when providing our token transfers to Heathrow Airport or tailor-made shuttle services, our passengers have always given positive feedback on the coach. Our new Volvo is also helping us to cut our operational costs, due to the fuel-efficient Euro VI engine which also meets the most stringent emissions requirements. We also received some excellent support from Volvo Truck & Bus Centre Hayes, with their aftermarket services; we couldn’t have asked for a better team to support us.”
The Volvo B11R JHV2 is also popular among drivers, the precise steering and smooth gear changes paired with responsiveness and outstanding driveability will make the drivers’ work as easy and comfortable as possible.
Jo Baker, Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager for Volvo Buses, said: “We have had a great relationship with Commonwealth Coaches for a while now and it has been a great pleasure helping them with their fourth Volvo order. We very much hope to be working with them again in the not too distant future.”
Commonwealth Coaches is a family owned and operated business which was established in 1963. The company provides private hire and services within the Heathrow Airport area, Slough and throughout Greater London.
