Jordan Ridley, Managing Director for Ridleys Coaches, said: “The majority of our fleet is built on a Volvo chassis, and the reliability and efficiency of our existing coaches was the key determining factor in leading us to specify Volvo once again.
“This is our 10th year in business and we wanted to celebrate in style with the purchase of the newest addition to the Volvo family, the fully integrated luxury 9900 coach, offering our customers the height of luxury and comfort with this premium coach. We even created a bespoke livery for this vehicle to mark our anniversary and it looks fantastic.
“The Volvo B11R JHV2 additions are a return to one of our favourite coaches which we have specified a number of times over the last couple of years, a vehicle we trust for fuel efficiency and reliability.
“We also took the decision to also invest in four new B11R MCV coaches after their launch at EBE last year. The B11R is proven within the UK market and we have not been let down by the reliability and comfort of the vehicle. The MCV bodywork looks fabulous and will complement our extensive fleet perfectly.
“Along with school trips and swimming contracts, the vehicles will also be used for UK tours and day trips, therefore good fuel efficiency is key. We continue to be impressed with the fuel consumption we have seen from our current Volvo coaches and are confident that these new vehicles will not disappoint.
Jo Baker, Volvo Retail Bus & Coach Sales Manager, said: “It’s really encouraging to see the great reputation that these vehicles continue to gain, and Ridleys Coaches’ extensive order strengthens this further. It is always a pleasure to work with Jordan and the team and we look forward to delivering another Volvo 9900 on order later this year.
Established in 2009, Ridleys Coaches is well established in rural Warwickshire providing quality services for its customers.
