Launched at Euro Bus Expo late in 2018, the eVoTor has proven to be a very popular choice with many customers with orders easily exceeding initial expectations for 2019.  Operators who have already added the eVoTor to their fleets include eight for Golden Tours, seven for Southgate & Finchley, eight for Skills of Nottingham and four for Ridleys, to name but a few.

Further stock orders have been placed to reflect initial demand and vehicles will be available for sale in Q1 next year.

James Hyde, Retail Sales Director for Volvo Buses, UK & Ireland, said:  “In addition to the exceptional demand that we have seen for the eVoTor, we are also excited about the significant enhancements that have been made. These include a new widened front step entrance, redesigned front entrance door with improved aesthetics and kerb view, and push button I-Shift controls. The “eVoTor also incorporates a new design for engine bay access, along with improved washroom ergonomics and revised exterior badging incorporating the new name.

“We are confident that these new features and benefits will make the eVoTor an even more popular choice with many UK operators and will ensure it goes from strength to strength as part of the Volvo range.”
