Bernard Kavanagh and Sons Ltd have another six Volvo vehicles joining what is one of Irelands largest fleet of coaches. Their fleet, which is predominately Volvo vehicles, have a further four B8R Sunsundegui and another two B11R Jonckheere JHV2 joining, increasing their Volvo based vehicle offering.

The Irish operator, established in 1945, is one of the largest private coach tour providers across the country and Volvo Bus are delighted to be supplying additional vehicles to join the fleet, further boosting our presence across Ireland.

The Volvo B8R Sunsundegui SC5s have 38 reclining seats with additional footrests, ensuring each and every passenger can enjoy their tour in comfort, with the vehicle often described as “the perfect mid-size tourer”. The accompanying two B11R Jonckheere JHV2 boasts 53 passenger seats and is fully equipped to accommodate the larger tours that Bernard Kavanagh and Sons excels in hosting.

When we asked Bernard why he stays so loyal to the Volvo brand, Bernard said: “Our fleet consists of state of the art, luxurious coaches and to ensure we meet this standard coming back to Volvo time after time guarantees we get this end product.”
