Keith Sanzo, director at Eurocoaches, explained: “We wanted the latest two coaches to be PSVAR compliant in order to carry out rail replacement and have our fleet fully PSVAR compliant.”
Eurocoaches’ preferred brand is Volvo and has been for 20 years. One of the many advantages of one brand is that it helps with parts and brand knowledge as well as access to training courses for the engineering team, as engines and bodies change with modernisation and upgrades.
Keith added: “People are increasingly wanting to travel and we are being inundated with enquiries from schools to private hire and everything in-between.”
The two new Volvos delivered to Eurocoaches, the first new MCV eVoTor models they have specified, have 53 seats and a centre toilet each. They have already been used for European work, including a seven day trip to Switzerland.
Eurocoaches, which started as a taxi company over 40 years ago, caters for a variety of travel needs having vehicles from eight seats up to double deckers. The two new Volvo eVoTors will be primarily used for standard private hire and rail replacement work.
