Latest Volvo fleet additions help Sanders drive Norfolk's bus service improvement plan

Sanders Coaches in north Norfolk has taken delivery of four new Volvo B8RLE MCV eVoRas as part of its commitment to help deliver the county’s bus service improvement plan.

The new 12.1 metre buses will be transporting passengers on the X55 route to and from North Walsham and Norwich.

Sanders Coaches is no stranger to the Volvo/MCV combination having previously ordered two smaller 10.8 metre versions early in 2022, as well as four 10.8 metre models in 2021, all adding to its burgeoning Volvo fleet.

Charles Sanders, managing director at Sanders Coaches, said: “We know the reliability levels that Volvo deliver and therefore had no hesitation in returning for another four models not long after our previous order.

“These latest full length single deck buses will be ideal for the popular X55 route and make a significant contribution to delivering the bus service improvement plan in the region.”

Formed in 1975 by Norman and Gladys Sanders, Sanders Coaches is a still a family-owned company which is now run by their sons Paul and Charles. It has a fleet of 85 vehicles, which is split between local bus and coach charter operation.

Meanwhile, the eVoRa’s exceptional functionality and driving performance is delivered through a robust chassis and world-class ergonomics.
