The order consists of all fully PSVAR compliant Volvo 9700s featuring 53 seats in a 13.1m length. The flexibility of these coaches is ideal for the diverse range of operations that Park’s of Hamilton undertake across the UK and Europe.
These 15 new additions to the fleet will join the nine 9700 coaches that have been in operation since 2022. The existing coaches have proven their reliability and have been well-supported by the Volvo dealer network. Furthermore, Park’s of Hamilton also operates six Volvo 9900 coaches, which underwent extensive internal conversions to meet the high standards of corporate, VIP, and elite sports team clients.
Jennifer McGill, Regional Account Manager for Volvo Bus Scotland, expressed her satisfaction in working closely with Park’s of Hamilton to fulfil this repeat order. “I know these vehicles will continue to perform exceptionally, providing an excellent service for Park’s and their valued customers. With all Volvo 9700s and 9900s now being in service, there’s a great sense of pride for myself and everyone at Volvo Bus UK to continue this relationship that has spanned more than 50 years.”
Michael Andrews, Director of Park’s of Hamilton, emphasised the importance of delivering luxurious and professional coach services for their customers. “We have chosen to partner with Volvo again due to the exceptional service we receive and the quality and reliability of the 9700. This significant new addition to our fleet will ensure we continue to do so for many years to come.”
Park’s of Hamilton is a leading coach hire company in the UK and Europe, providing all types of coach hire services. Their investment in these 15 new Volvo 9700 coaches demonstrates their commitment to offering their customers the best possible experience.
