What is FMS Gateway?
FMS Gateway translates information from the vehicle's internal network to the FMS standard. Volvo Buses FMS Gateway service adheres to the FMS standard and also offers extended operational data content focused on electromobility. FMS is the Fleet Management System which is a standard interface to vehicle data developed by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), an EU-based automotive standards group.
What are offboard APIs?
