Issue with driver identification in Volvo Connect is now resolved

We would like to inform you that the previously communicated issue affecting how driver identification was recorded in Volvo Connect has now been fully resolved and all affected data has been corrected.
Issue with driver identification

During the period 11 October 2025, 09:00 (CET) – 8 December 2025, 12:30 (CET), some vehicle-related data in Volvo Connect could be assigned to an incorrect driver when using driver identification methods such as tachograph or USB Driver ID. In certain cases, driver sessions were not ended correctly. The vehicle-related data itself was not affected, only the link to which driver was operating the vehicle. No data in the Tachograph was affected, only the read-out to Volvo Connect.

The root cause has now been identified and data has been corrected. Volvo Group takes data quality and reliability seriously, and we appreciate your patience while this issue was being resolved.
