Securing your uptime

A service contract has one purpose only: to keep your vehicles available, safe and productive. A well-maintained bus or coach will simply do a better job. The risk of unplanned stops, or even breakdowns, is significantly reduced. What’s more, a properly serviced vehicle is also better at maintaining its value.

 

Tailor your maintenance

All vehicles are different. City buses with long service days need a different type of attention compared to low-mileage intercity short-haulers. Within the service contract, we design a maintenance plan based on the way each of your vehicles is driven.

Our contract levels

There is a service contract for every need. In addition to our principal contracts there are several options for tailoring the coverage to suit your operation.

Gold Contract

An all-inclusive solution with full maintenance and repair coverage.

Flexi-Gold Contract

A Gold Contract with the fee adapted to your seasonal variations.

Silver Contract

Driveline repairs with all components covered and preventive maintenance based on an vehicle-specific service plan.

Blue Contract

Expert maintenance with individual service plans.

Blue Classic Contract

An affordable basic contract for vehicles older than 13 months.

Ultimate uptime protection

Volvo’s Gold Contract means peace of mind. Meticulous maintenance keeps your vehicle on the road and productive. And should repairs be needed, Volvo’s expert technicians will bring it back to mint condition. So your passengers will always have a fresh, reliable and comfortable journey.

Repairs included

The Gold Contract, gives maximum reassurance, reliability and uptime. It includes all necessary repairs of driveline chassis and body. The coverage does not include damage caused by incorrect or careless handling of the vehicle.

Preventive maintenance

The maintenance programme includes over a hundred checks. In addition to the computer assisted diagnostics, your vehicle is visually inspected by a Volvo expert. The preventive maintenance covers the following areas:

• Lubrication, oil and fluids level check

• Brake system check

• Check of controls and driver’s station

• External functional check

• Engine compartment

• Front suspension

• Steering gear

• Check underneath the vehicle

• Road test

Tailor your contract

In addition to what’s included in the service contract you can choose from a range of valuable options. The exact list of actions can be adjusted according to your needs. Please contact your Volvo representative for further information.

• Legal inspection

• Delivery/pick-up from workshop

• Repairs outside normal working hours

• National roadside assistance

• International roadside assistance

• Replacement of wiper blades, bulbs and fuses

• Topping up of oil, coolant and antifreeze

• Repairs of non-standard fitted components, such as accessories, audio/video, coffee machines etc.

• Maintenance of additional equipment

 

Distribute your expenses with Flexi-Gold

With a Volvo Flexi-Gold Service Contract, your service costs adjust to follow the seasonal changes in your business. The contract coverage is identical to that of the Gold Contract and your monthly payments are split into a fixed and a variable part.

Silver Contract

An uptime booster with driveline repairs included

With all driveline components and repairs are covered in the Volvo Silver Contract, you can run your business with better cost control. And with a tailored service plan, your vehicle will be taken care of at the time that best suits your operation. Minimum standstill – maximum uptime.

Tailored maintenance*

The contract covers the following areas, each with a detailed list of specific tests. A visual inspection and a road test are, of course, always included.

  • Lubrication, oil and fluids level check
  • Periodic and annual inspections
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Valve and injector replacement
  • AdBlue® filter replacement
  • Brake system check
  • Gearbox oil and filter replacement
  • Rear axle oil replacement
  • Check of controls and driver’s station
  • External functional check
  • Engine compartment
  • Front suspension
  • Steering gear
  • Check underneath the vehicle
  • Road test

* According to pre-agreed service schedule

Driveline repair coverage

With the Silver Contract there will be no surprise cost or driveline repairs. Labour as well as all components are covered.

Blue Contract

 Keeps your vehicles in perfect working condition

Meticulous maintenance, expert diagnostics and Genuine Volvo Parts are the cornerstones of the Blue Contract. And individual service plans for each vehicle make for optimised service intervals and swift workshop visits. Because your vehicles belong on the road.

Coverage blue

The contract covers the following areas, each with a detailed list of specific tests. A visual inspection and a road test is, of course, always included.

  • Lubrication, oil and fluids level check
  • Periodic and annual inspections
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Valve and injector replacement
  • AdBlue® filter replacement
  • Brake system check
  • Gearbox oil and filter replacement
  • Rear axle oil replacement
  • Check of controls and driver’s station

Parts contracts – an optimised partnership

For operators with large fleets, a fully equipped workshop and trained technicians, Volvo offers tailored solutions for parts supply including logistics and a specified monthly cost for parts within an agreed framework.

Vehicles with non-Volvo body

Of course, there are also both Blue and Gold contracts for buses and coaches with bodies from third-party bodybuilders. Maintenance, driveline and vehicle repairs are included, the only exceptions are body parts such as doors, hatches and panels
