    Volvo Buses to deliver 73 new electric buses to the city Borås in Sweden

    Volvo Buses has secured an order from Vy Buss for 73 new electric buses that will operate in and around the city Borås, Sweden. The order comprises 46 Volvo 7900 Electric Articulated buses, 14 Volvo 7900 Electric, and 13 Volvo 8900 Electric, all scheduled to enter operation by April 2027.

    Volvo Buses secures the first order for electric articulated and bi-articulated buses in Brazil

    Goiânia, in Brazil, will be the first city in the world to have regular operations of 100% electric bi-articulated buses. This achievement is the result of a deal between Volvo Buses and GreenMob Capital, an investment company of the HP Group, specialized in structuring capital-intensive projects associated with the urban mobility sector. The order consists of 21 Volvo BZRT buses: 16 articulated and 5 bi-articulated models. They will operate on the East-West BRT line of the Metropolitan Collective Transport Network of Goiânia.

    Volvo Buses has received an order for 32 buses from Tide Buss for city and regional traffic in Sogn and Sunnhordland, Norway. 28 of the buses will be built on Volvo Buses’ proven and renowned Volvo B8RLE chassis, with bodywork supplied by Spanish bodybuilder UNVI. The remaining four buses will feature bodywork from Carrus Delta and will be built on Volvo Buses’ fuel-efficient B13R chassis.
