From 1 March 2025, the Workshop Services Standard application will be decommissioned. Since August 2024, users can access Impact and other tools directly in Volvo Connect, making the standard Workshop Services application no longer needed. There will be no changes for users of the Workshop Services Diagnostic application.

Volvo Buses has received orders for 15 electric coaches, the Volvo BZR Electric – CD, from six different customers in Norway, marking a strong commercial breakthrough for the company’s latest long-range electric bus platform built on the the Volvo BZR Electric coach chassis with a body from Carrus Delta. To provide more customers with the best possible coverage, Volvo Buses has launched a new type of service contract: the Uptime Care Contract, which uses connectivity to monitor key vehicle components. All service contracts now feature this connected functionality.

Volvo Buses has secured an order from Vy Buss for 73 new electric buses that will operate in and around the city Borås, Sweden. The order comprises 46 Volvo 7900 Electric Articulated buses, 14 Volvo 7900 Electric, and 13 Volvo 8900 Electric, all scheduled to enter operation by April 2027.

The Workshop History tool now features an improved design and enhanced functionality, providing you with a clearer and more comprehensive overview of your maintenance activities. With the new chips located at the top of the screen, you can easily choose the specific dates you wish to display. You can also select which event types you want to view. These options can also be adjusted using the Filter option.

We are happy to introduce a new tool in the Volvo connect portal! The new portal tool, Logbook, allows you to create incident reports and workshop requests. This makes it easy to record and track your vehicle’s issues, as well as conveniently communicate these issues and book a workshop visit. You access the Logbook tool from the main menu.

The landing page in Assets, Fleet Overview, is updated to now display widgets. The new design makes it easier and quicker for you to monitor and control warnings and alerts. Note that some widgets might not be visible on all markets.

Volvo Buses has entered a strategic partnership with Marcopolo to expand its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in the European coach market. The partnership brings a new premium solution to customers in France and Italy – the Volvo B13R chassis paired with Marcopolo’s Paradiso G8 1200 body.

Goiânia, in Brazil, will be the first city in the world to have regular operations of 100% electric bi-articulated buses. This achievement is the result of a deal between Volvo Buses and GreenMob Capital, an investment company of the HP Group, specialized in structuring capital-intensive projects associated with the urban mobility sector. The order consists of 21 Volvo BZRT buses: 16 articulated and 5 bi-articulated models. They will operate on the East-West BRT line of the Metropolitan Collective Transport Network of Goiânia.

London is set to debut a major public transport safety innovation later this year in real traffic, as the first Volvo BZL Electric buses equipped with City Brake — a new form of Advanced Emergency Braking (AEB) — hit the city’s streets.

Volvo Buses has received an order for 32 buses from Tide Buss for city and regional traffic in Sogn and Sunnhordland, Norway. 28 of the buses will be built on Volvo Buses’ proven and renowned Volvo B8RLE chassis, with bodywork supplied by Spanish bodybuilder UNVI. This milestone marks the introduction of the advanced Volvo B13R Euro 6 chassis to Dubai for the first time, reaffirming Volvo Buses’ long-standing commitment to the United Arab Emirates and the broader Middle East region.
